Dr. Toni Salama was born on Long Island in New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Binghamton University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to complete a 3-year post-graduate residency at New York University where she specialized in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. During her residency, she received world-class training in treating complex cases, implant placement, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Salama’s goal is to create a sound foundation for beautiful and healthy smiles. She believes that building a rapport and facilitating open communication with each patient is essential for establishing trust. Taking the time to truly understand each patient's goals is a key factor for successful treatment. With her surgical training and experience, she prides herself on delivering quality care, personalized to her patients' individual needs. She loves what she does, and looks forward to taking care of her patients every day.
Dr. Salama is currently an active member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology. She is committed to continuing education in order to remain knowledgeable with state-of-the-art technology, procedures, and materials in dentistry. She has successfully completed advanced training through her Live Patient Surgical Mini-Residency at UNIMES Metropolitan University and DentalXP Online Implant Fellowship Program.
When Dr. Salama isn't practicing dentistry and caring for her patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling with friends, and playing tennis.
