Amy L. Bahry attended Kent State University in Ohio
where she explored different areas of the health field.
During this time she worked as a dental hygiene assistant
and grew to appreciate the field of dental hygiene.
She transferred to Stark State College, where she received
her Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Dental
Hygiene and graduated with distinction. She has worked
in the dental field since 1998 and joined Goldstein, Garber & Salama in 2003.
Amy's dental interests include the relationships between
prescription medications and the physiology of the mouth.
She also advocates regular oral cancer screenings. Amy
feels that her greatest strength professionally is the
enthusiasm she has for the care of her patients. Amy is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries.
Amy currently lives in Smyrna with her husband, Drew A. Bahry. They enjoy spending time outdoors
with their miniature schnauzer, Molly, and love Atlanta's
culinary culture. |

Akiko Hartmann received an Associates Degree
in Biology from St. John's College in the Central American
country of Belize. After attending college she worked
as a dental assistant until moving to Miami, Florida in
1995. While in Miami she furthered her education by earning
a second associate's degree, in dental hygiene, and graduated
with honors. Akiko joined the practice of Goldstein, Garber
and Salama in 1999 as a dental hygienist. She enjoys the
close relationships that she has developed over the years
with her patients.
Akiko is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries.
While Akiko's parents are Japanese, she was raised
in Belize City, Belize and speaks three languages; Japanese,
Spanish, and English. She enjoys reading, scuba diving,
spending time with her friends, and playing with Haylee,
her English bulldog.

| Cheri K. Robinette studied Business Communications
at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois.
Realizing her interests lie in the health field, Cheri
earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Dental
Hygiene in 1986, graduating with honors. She moved to
Orlando, Florida, and began practicing in one of the first
multi-specialty dental offices. In 1994, Cheri moved back
to Chicago to be closer to family. In Chicago she earned
her certification to deliver local anesthetic. She consulted
for a short time, but returned to her passion for dental
hygiene.
Cheri joined Goldstein, Garber & Salama in the summer of 2003. Cheri is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. Cheri's
special interests include researching the latest oral
health care products and developing custom homecare
for her patients.
Cheri enjoys traveling, reading and exploring Atlanta's
wonderful restaurants. She currently lives in Norcross
with her husband Dan, and his two boys Brad and Dan.
They all enjoy their "furry-child" a Golden Retriever, "Walter"!

Janet P. Kaufman studied at San Diego State
University, San Diego, CA, where she received her Bachelors
degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Community
Health Education. After moving to Augusta, Georgia, in
1999, she pursued her dream and returned to school at
the Medical College of Georgia where she graduated magnum
cum laude and received a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene.
She started working with Goldstein, Garber & Salama in May of 2002.
Janet is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. Janet has worked in the dental field since January
1990. She has served as a dental office manager, dental
assistant, and dental hygienist. She and her husband,
Sean, currently live in Woodstock and have two growing
boys, Sean Patrick and Aiden.

| Gail Goldstein Heyman is a proud native
of Atlanta and a cousin of Dr. Ronald Goldstein. After
graduating from Northside High in 1971, she was invited
into the Honors Program at the University of Georgia and
graduated magna cum laude from the Medical College of
Georgia earning her B. S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. While
a student, Gail was President of her hygiene class and
was actively involved in leadership activities throughout
her academic years.
Gail is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries.
As a hygienist at Goldstein, Garber and Salama for
over 20 years, Gail has enjoyed getting to know her
patients and their family members, while providing quality
care. She believes that the dental experience can be
not only healthy for the patient, but fun.
Passionate about helping others, Gail is also a community
activist and has been recognized for her service by
the Martin Luther King Humanitarian award, Woman of
Distinction award, and Childrens Legacy award.
She is President and co-founder of the Fragile X Association
of GA and a National Commissioner of the ADL. Gail serves
on many community boards including the Jewish Federation
of Greater Atlanta, JF&CS, Brandeis, and the DHR
Regional Planning Board.
Married to Lyons Heyman, Jr., they love spending time
with their three children, Jared, Scott, and Carly.
They enjoy hiking, sailing and traveling together on
family vacations.

Kimberly J. Nimmons attended dental hygiene school at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. She received certification as a dental assistant and an associates degree in dental hygiene. She is currently a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association as well as the local and state components of ADHA. She also holds a certificate from the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. Kim has served as a member of the 3M Dental Hygiene Advisory Board.
Kim has served as a dental assistant and surgical /implant assistant as well as a full time dental hygienist with the office of Goldstein, Garber & Salama since 1985. Kim’s dental interests include the relationship of oral health to whole body health and the practice of evidence based non-surgical periodontal therapy.
Kim has a daughter who is currently attending Brandeis University in Boston. Kim enjoys serving as the secretary of Hope and Love for Families of Georgia, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needy. Kim enjoys traveling, reading and studying Arabic. |
