general dentistry
Prior
to your visit at our facility, one of our well-trained treatment
coordinators will make arrangements with you. These
coordinators assist you by answering any questions in regards
to our practice, philosophy, and the different types of dental
specialists and providers, as well as the details regarding
your first visit. Any relevant patient forms will be
provided to you. This can be done either through the
mail, or may be downloaded using the links above.
Visit One
Upon your first visit to our office, you will be greeted by
one of our receptionists, who, in turn, will promptly inform
the relevant member of the team that you are present for your
appointment. You may then be brought back to our hygiene
department and seated in a comfortable
room with all of the latest high-tech diagnostic equipment.
This technology enables us to thoroughly evaluate and document
your particular situation and need.
Our highly-trained hygienist will review your past dental
history and then do a full examination which will include:
head and neck examination, cancer screening and detection,
full mouth digital radiography, and caries detection, as well
as periodontal screening examination. Once this diagnostic
evaluation has been completed, your visit may include cleaning
and debridement of your teeth and gum tissue. Should
time not permit, this may need to be done at a separate visit.
Once our hygiene department has assisted you and taken your
oral records, you will then schedule an appointment with the
particular specialist best suited to address your particular
needs.
Visit Two
Treatment here at our office will be specifically customized
for the patient because we have all of the necessary specialists
here under one roof, including an in-house dental laboratory
with master ceramists. Your second visit may be a consultation
appointment with the dentist and his/her assistants.
Should any additional records be needed, such as study casts
of your teeth and mouth, or intraoral digital photographs
of your clinical situation, they will then be taken at that
time. For some of our more advanced situations,
a CAT scan of your head and neck region may be necessary, as
well.
Visit Three
Complex cases may require a third visit, in which you will
be given a thorough explanation and answers to any remaining
questions that you may have. A treatment
plan for your case with different options, will be provided
to you along with an estimate of the costs of treatment. You
will be assigned a treatment coordinator who will follow you
through all your visits and coordinate your appointments as
well as your financial payment schedules. They will
also help to assist you with your insurance claims and any
questions you may have once you have decided to pursue further
treatment.
