Atlanta, GA — Drs. David Garber, Maurice Salama and Henry Salama, of Goldstein, Garber, & Salama, were the keynote speakers at the opening of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED) conference, which took place in South Africa this winter. Over 700 participants were in attendance from all over the world.
"Team Atlanta," as they are known world-wide, delivered presentations on state-of-the-art techniques, and protocols and procedures derived from a solid basis of evidence-based clinical information and personal experience as they relate to the dental industry, specifically modern perio-prosthodontic procedures.
The IFED was founded by the American, European and Japanese Academies of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Ronald Goldstein was one of the original organizers, but could not attend since he was lecturing at the American Dental Association Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. at the time of the IFED conference.
The purpose of the IFED is to contribute to the progress and development of worldwide esthetic and oral health and to enhance communication between member organizations. The IFED consist of 36 academies and 29 countries.
